You will laugh on the last day

One day, I was sitting in the living room.
My youngest daughter came to see me and asked me to talk.

At school, some people made fun of her:
from her modest way of dressing,
of his courageous choice to serve God.

I told him that there are those who laugh at first,
and those who laugh at the end.

In this work, I chose the three words
“Ve-tish’hak le-yom ha-a’haron”
and I associated it with the cave of Ma'hpéla,
burial place of the patriarchs and matriarchs.

Their lives have not been easy,
But what immense joy today!
to have merited that the people of Israel should descend from them.

Even in deliverance, it is said:
"Then our mouths will be filled with laughter."

One day, we will look back
and will understand that the one who truly laughs
is the one who remained faithful
to the path of truth to the very end.
