I've got it and I won't let go.

One day, I discovered that my car had been broken into.
and that my bag had been stolen.

Inside were my tefillin.

Because tefillin symbolize the link between us and the Creator,
I felt that it wasn't just an object that had been stolen from me,
but that we were trying to reach that link.

My wife and I have decided not to give up.
We searched, questioned, and explored difficult places.

Two days of searching,
until the tefillin are returned to us.

That's when I understood the meaning of those three words:
"I've got it and I won't let go."

A silent certainty.

This link is not dependent on circumstances.
neither conditions nor time.

Even if, God forbid, everything seems to be slipping away,
I will never let go of your hand.
